WHO IS SHE?
Throughout her journey as Miss Alaska USA, Brooke embraced the opportunity to make a positive impact, focusing on empowering youth and promoting mental health awareness. Through her visionary project, Crowning Confidence, she educates future generations about self-esteem, mental health, and bullying prevention.
Brooke serves as a national ambassador for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), Brooke works closely with the largest grassroots organization in the US, along with over 700 local affiliates, and tells her story of overcoming challenges with Anxiety, Depression, CPTSD, Trauma, and ADD.
In addition to her ambassadorship, Brooke has been invited as a keynote speaker at prestigious events such as NAMIcon, NAMI Walks, NAMI West LA Inaugural Gala, American Foundation for Suicide Awareness, and 1 Health Youth Conference with partnered with NAMI High Desert and Goodwill. Certified as an Ending the Silence and In Our Own Voice Speaker for local NAMI Affiliates, she delivers impactful presentations on mental health to diverse audiences.
During her reign as Miss Alaska USA, Brooke touched the lives of over 6,000 kids at schools through her Crowning Confidence program, instilling confidence and encouraging personal growth. She has also extended her outreach to over 100 children beyond Alaska, spreading her message of hope and resilience.
An accomplished host and Emcee, Brooke has spearheaded notable events including TEDx Anchorage, NAMIcon, the STAR (Sexual Trauma Prevention & Response) Inaugural Gala, and Kids Day Anchorage, fostering community engagement and supporting important causes.
She's a proud recipient of a Women's Empowerment Certificate of Appreciation from the United States Army of Alaska.
